Nylon cord is ideal for making bracelets, sunglasses cords, key chains and other jewelry projects. It is a very diverse cord and for a good reason very popular in jewelry making. Nylon cord is a sturdy cord that you can use for macramé knotting techniques and also as beading cord for various beads such as our shell beads, metal beads and letter beads. Do you want to use this cord in combination with beads? Pay close attention to the bead hole size and the thickness of the cord that must fit through it. For example, if you have a bead with a bead hole size of 1 mm, we recommend our nylon cord of 0.8 mm or thinner.
Making a bracelet with nylon cord is a lot of fun and you can design it in many ways. What you see a lot are knot bracelets with a number of beads or a connector in the middle of it. A connector could be a shiny stone, a cabochon or a stainless steel connector such as a pretty butterfly. You finish the bracelet with a sliding knot.
